How this is calculated
We divide the wall area, plus extra for cuts, by the area of one panel and round up.
If your panels are shorter than the wall, you’ll need more than one row. The panels-across figure helps you plan each row.
Do I subtract windows and doors?
For one or two small openings, no. The offcuts cover the edges. For a large window, subtract its area before adding extra.
Glue or nails?
Most slat and PVC panels use construction adhesive plus a few brad nails into the studs while the glue sets.
