How this is calculated
We measure the wall area, subtract doors and windows, then add extra for lining up the pattern between strips.
Use 10% extra for plain or small patterns and 20% or more for large repeats. Check the coverage on the label: US double rolls cover about 56 sq ft, and standard European rolls about 5.3 m².
Is peel-and-stick the same?
Yes, the math is the same. Peel-and-stick rolls are often smaller, around 28 to 30 sq ft, so change the coverage per roll to match.
Why buy all rolls at once?
Rolls are printed in batches, and colors can vary slightly between batches. Buying everything together keeps the walls matching.
